“We closed on the sell of our condo and purchase of our home on the same day. It was a complex transaction involving wire transfers and gathering last minute information needed to complete the two closings. They accomplished everything without a flaw. They made a very stressful time much easier.”

Pat entered the title profession in January of 1980. She began her career as a policy and commitment typist and title researcher and examiner. The experience served her well in developing expertise as a real estate closing officer. Pat is both a Certified Land Searcher and Certified Land Closer, earning those designations from the Florida Land Title Association. Registered as a Licensed Title Agent in the State of Florida, Pat opened Diamond Title Agency, Inc. on July 1, 1998, with an aim to exceed expectations in providing exceptional customer service in the title insurance industry. Pat strives to handle each closing individually with professionalism and ease. Customers often end up friends. It is amazing the recall Pat has for each customer; each customer is important, and they know it. Today, Diamond Title Agency, Inc. continues to thrive in a market that is more competitive than ever.
Before beginning her roles in the title insurance world, Pat learned finance and business management by working with well-known companies such as Atlantic Loan Company and Beneficial Finance. Her father’s career in the military took the family to several locations before settling in Bay County. Pat is active in the Bay Builders Industry Association (Homebuilders Association) of Bay County as well as the Central Panhandle Association of Realtors. Both organizations respectively have awarded Pat Affiliate of the Year for her commitment to their professions. Her other awards include Bay County Chamber of Commerce’s Commerce Service Award as well as the Small Business of the Month Award.
A resident of Bay County since 1969, Sue began working in the title insurance industry in 1979 with Panama Title Corporation where she learned title research and examination from some of the masters in the industry. In 1984 upon completion of many years of study and separate examinations, she was awarded the Certified Land Closer and Certified Land Searcher designations by the Florida Land Title Association. In 1985 she then turned her focus to real estate closings at Bay County Land & Abstract Co. where she was part of a closing team that dominated the title insurance industry in Bay County for over 17 years.
In 2002 Sue was asked to join Pat Diamond at Diamond Title Agency where they worked together through the real estate “boom” times of the early 2000’s. Sue then spent 10 years working as a real estate paralegal with Franklin Harrison, Senior Partner at Harrison Sale McCloy as part of the team which handled landmark real estate transactions in Bay County. In 2017 Sue returned to Diamond Title as an officer and stockholder to continue the Diamond Title tradition of service that is “a cut above” and assisting homeowners to achieve the “American Dream”. Sue is also able to handle complex commercial real estate transactions with skill and expertise that only years of experience can achieve.
Sue is fully invested in the arts community in Bay County with her volunteer work over the years at Kaleidoscope Theatre, The Martin Theatre and Gulf Coast State College. She is the choirmaster at St. Andrews Episcopal Church where she can fully express her passion for music and her faith.
Born in Panama City, and you could also say, born into title insurance, Ashley has spent her life learning and serving in the business. The profession just became second nature to her. Her first summertime job at age 16 was at Bay County Land and Abstract Co., alongside mom, Pat. She studied and gained knowledge and upon graduating from Moseley High School in 1998, she enrolled at Gulf Coast State College f/k/a Gulf Coast Community College where she majored in Liberal Arts. After two years of school, she decided that perhaps she was just meant to work in title insurance after all. She became a Licensed Title Agent in 2005 and continues to build her knowledge by regularly attending seminars that keep her informed of the constantly changing business. She has worked in just about every position, from receptionist to Closing Agent. She is currently responsible for post- closing issues and acts as a liaison with our underwriters.
Melisa was born to an Air Force family at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. Upon retirement, her Dad knew he wanted to return home and raise the family in Panama City. As a Mosley High grad, Melisa is proud of her hometown and after working four years with a top selling realtor, she made the not-so-distant leap to the title insurance world.
Melisa first worked with Diamond Title in 2015, and after the 2018 devastation of Hurricane Michael on our community, she and her family relocated to Clarksville, Tennessee. In Tennessee, Melisa continued to work within the title industry for three years. When her husband’s career brought them home, Melisa returned to Diamond Title in the summer of 2022 and soon passed the State Board Exam to become a Licensed Title Agent.
When Melisa is not working, she has a busy home life. With a husband and three children it seems there is always something happening. Melisa and her family are active members of Parkway Presbyterian Church where she serves on the Session.
